Hannah Walker and her alter ego, Savvy B take a comic look at who we become when we drink and what it takes to sparkle.

Featuring live drinking, the re-release of Hannah’s single that she made when she was sixteen (and thought was really good) and a hearty mouthful of public shaming, An Evening with Savvy B promises to be the best night ever.

“This show is rather like Sauvignon Blanc: refreshing and vigorous” London Theatre

“Watchable, relatable and very, very funny” NARC Magazine

Hannah & Rosa

Hannah & Rosa are two artists and friends who explore their own, sometimes boring, lives to make performances that shimmer. We devise new work that straddles theatre and live art, approaching subject matters with care, generosity and vigour. We’re inspired by the alternative cabaret scene and together we want to make shows as effervescent and potent as our drinks.

An audience member once said that our work was “funny, glossy and honest”. We think this is something to aim for.

Hannah & Rosa have a quarterly club night called PUG - a night of short performances for meagre attention spans and are in the early stages of research towards their next show Basic B, a show basically about naming and shaming.

Visit Hannah's website here.

The Alphabetti Theatre bar and theatre are wheelchair accessible. We have space for two wheelchair users per performance.

Ticket Collection Policy: for all shows which are Pay What You Feel all tickets must be collected by 7.15pm. Tickets uncollected by 7.15pm will be made available to those on the waiting list for shows which sell out.

Organiser

Alphabetti Theatre

Alphabetti Theatre is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and was created by Ali Pritchard in 2012. We create, produce, and programme new, original work from emerging artists across the performing arts, championing work in Music, Theatre, Comedy and Poetry. We strive to make theatre that is relatable and accessible to all, and are constantly looking for new ways to challenge ourselves, physically, mentally and conceptually – we believe that by challenging ourselves we inevitably challenge the audience, creating engaging and original experiences.
