On this Fifteenth Night we've set the Bechdel Team the challenge of basing all of their sets in reaction to our main house production, Bacon Knees & Sausage Fingers!

Lauren Stone and Liberty Hodes have been teaming up since 2017 bringing us the best female stand-ups in and outside of the region. Their almost monthly comedy nights have proved hugely popular, showcasing a diverse range of emerging and established female comedians.

Liberty Hodes is a comedian, live performance artist and Chelsea College of Art graduate making big, bright, visually bewildering work about the everyday, pop culture, soap operas, B-Movies, house-wives, sarcasm, shark attacks, hopes and dreams (forgotten).

Lauren Stone looks a bit like an owl that flew into a window, and sounds like something very sad has happened. It hasn’t. She is a stand-up comedian with a special fondness for jokes about snacks, street hassle and touch-sensitive lamps.

Organiser

Alphabetti Theatre

Alphabetti Theatre is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and was created by Ali Pritchard in 2012. We create, produce, and programme new, original work from emerging artists across the performing arts, championing work in Music, Theatre, Comedy and Poetry. We strive to make theatre that is relatable and accessible to all, and are constantly looking for new ways to challenge ourselves, physically, mentally and conceptually – we believe that by challenging ourselves we inevitably challenge the audience, creating engaging and original experiences.
