Rejoining Jane: Nowhere Man, Brighton

Nowhere Man, Brighton

Thursday, 11 Oct (various times)

Free - £5.34

Tick Tock Bridget - Rosa, Harriet and Jessica - hope that you can join them for their performances of Rejoining Jane in Brighton, as part of their UK and Scandivian tour in Summer/Autumn 2018.

The audience are invited to eavesdrop on a book group’s monthly meet-up, discussing their latest read Rejoining Jane. The three dancers and the audience find themselves being carried in and out of Jane’s turbulent adventure, all within the confines of a cosy cafe.

Together they delve into her story, travelling from Bromley to Papua New Guinea (via Ibiza!) with various escapades and secrets that unfold along the way.

"Beautiful evening. Warm, funny, engaging. My imagination was set off. Could had watched for hours more, loved the setting and storytelling” (Margate, Male, 27)
“Proof that a cafe can be more than coffee & cake” (Brighton, Female, 45)
“Totally captivating, beautiful, heart warming. I wanted to watch it all over again, an absolute joy” (Portsmouth, Female, 60)

Rejoining Jane is a delightful immersive experience set in a cafe, which premiered at Brighton Fringe Festival Spring 2017. Following a sell out run in Brighton Fringe Festival (Shortlisted for South East Dance’s Space to Dance Award) they took the show on the road and have now toured the piece to a host of cafes all over England - Bristol, Margate, Portsmouth, Newcastle, Brighton as well as Gothenburg, Sweden and Lahti, Finland.
