The Growth House presents Tales at Twilight, an online performance event to fright and excite. Featuring live performances of songs, poems, dance, videos and storytelling based on real people's experiences with that which they cannot explain.

The event has two parts: Performances and Sharing

Performances: 4 artists perform using real people's stories as the inspiration for original works of thrills and suspense.
Sharing: It's your turn! We open the floor up to the anyone who wants to share a strange occurence from their own life. We aren't looking for master storytellers, just experiences that answer the question: "Was there a time in your life where you were absolutely terrified, but could not explain it?"

More announcements coming soon...

This event is brought to you by The Growth House.

If you have any access requirements, please let us know once you have booked and we will do our best to accomodate you.

If I am late, will I still be admitted? Yes, though you will be muted so it doesn't detract from the performer or person sharing their story. You are welcome to keep your video off.

Can I leave my camera off? Yes, if you prefer.

Will there be a break? Yes, we will have an interval half way through the performances. This is usually around 30-40 minutes after the start time.

I had something weird happen to me once. Can I share it? Yes! During the Sharing section of the event (after we have seen the rehearsed pieces from artists) we invite anyone to contribute and share any experiences they have had. This is usually around 1 hour after the start time.

Is this event free? This event is Pay-What-You-Feel. You can choose to attend the event for free, but we encourage you to donate what you can to support the artists/companies performing on the night. Donations are split between the participating performers and The Growth House.

What if I don't want to tell a story? That's fine. You can sit back, relax and enjoy stories being told by others. There is no pressure to do anything.
