We have seen a huge shift in thinking and practice over the past 6 months in relation to youth arts activity with young people. We have had little choice but some amazing things have happened and some huge challenges faced. This session will be an opportunity for youth arts practitioners and coordinators to come together to share their experiences, best practice and hear from Glasgow CAN's Director about how together with the Bold Collective, they approached delivering an enterely online project for young people aged 18-24 as part of Creative Scotland's youth arts festival UnCon in early 2021.

Hannah Justad has over fifteen years' experience using the arts to engage with young people in some of Scotland's hardest to reach areas and with a broad range of client groups. Switching to doing this solely on line has been a huge learning curve for her and her team but the thinking is a blended approach may work when restrictions hopefully ease, something she could never have imagined previously. Delivering online has some ways increased access and reach, but she is also looking forward to delivering some face-to-face provision again in the future.
