Hannah Justad, Glasgow CAN’s Executive Director, will lead attendees through how to approach searching and applying for funding for a Participatory Arts project. This workshop is aimed at attendees who run small organisations or collectives, or have been asked to source funding for a new project from a partner, with limited or no experience of applying for project funding. The group will explore what opportunities are out there in this new climate, basic do's and dont's, and how to approach making applications; starting with a project plan. Time will also be given for attendees to share their experiences, ask questions and give one another peer support. 

Hannah Justad has over fifteen years’ experience designing, delivering and evaluating participatory arts based organisations and projects, and generating income. She has worked extensively in the sector both in a freelance capacity and managed two third sector organisations based in Central Scotland. Since coming on board to lead Glasgow CAN in May 2017, Hannah has been successful in securing financial support from; commissioned work, Glasgow City Council, The National Lottery, Creative Scotland, and the Robertson Trustl amongst others. Hannah also leads on Glasgow CAN’s Small Grants Schemes therefore has experience of awarding grants for creative projects.
