Online Via Zoom, Glasgow

For this month's #CreativeConnect Networking event, we are joined by guest speakers Kelly Conway and James Rennie from Business Collective Scotland. As always there will be time for everyone to introduce themselves and have a friendly chat about the relevant topics discussed. It's relaxed and informal so feel free to sit in with a coffee or a cup of tea. It'll be a great way to kick start your Tuesday morning and leave feeling inspired and connected with others in the sector!

Kelly Conway is the owner of Super Market Events which hosts markets and retail pop ups all over Glasgow and James is the owner of lifestyle store Ryan James Studio and together they have created Business Collective Scotland CIC with help from Glasgow CAN's Resilience Grant. Business Collective Scotland CIC is an affordable and accessible community for small businesses to scale and succeed. A community interest company whose aim is to celebrate, support and connect small businesses across Scotland with a focus on routes to market and retail.

‘We created the collective to give Scottish small businesses the platform their talents deserve’

The three principles of Business Collective Scotland Celebrate, Support & Connect will make up the focus of this session:

The pair will touch upon how best to communicate with your audience and celebrate every small business win.

They will discuss the importance of artists, art practitioners and small creative businesses pivoting their practices to engage existing customers and reach new customers digitally.

They will also discuss the use of network and community to help survive and thrive during these challenging times.
