St Ann’s Well Gardens - The Sensory Garden, Hove

Saturday, 15th Aug - Saturday, 29th Aug

£5.34 - £21.35

The One Fell Swoop Project UNLOCKED comes to Brighton after months of performing Shakespeare to an audience via Zoom. With the opening of outdoor performance spaces, we just had to bring our passion and love to a live audience with this unique fundraising event for FairShare and local performing artists.

UNLOCKED’ is a micro-festival of 4 rehearsed, costumed and staged script-in-hand performances of some of Shakespeare’s most well known plays, combining favourite comedies with tragedy and a history play.

Macbeth, As you like it, Richard III and Much Ado About Nothing will be performed in the magical setting of the Sensory Garden in St Anne’s Well Gardens, Hove, on four Saturdays in August, the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th, doors opening at 5.30pm with performance starting at 6pm.

The actors will only be told which play they are performing the evening before and have just 24 hours to con their roles and rehearse in what promises to be a thrilling, live and immersive exploration of the Bard’s immortal works. What’s more, you will have no idea which play you’re coming to watch until you take your seats.

So wrap up warm, bring a picnic and join us for one or all of these amazing plays.

In line with government guidance we will have to ensure social distancing for the audience, and will provide all necessary information on the day.

This is a leave no trace event. Please leave the space as you find it and take all of your waste home to dispose of. Please travel sustainably.

We are keeping the ticket prices low, so everyone can attend. However PLEASE DONATE GENEROUSLY for FairShare and our local performing arts community.
