Beccy Owen's Pop-Up Choirs and the Summerhill Trust bring you a one-off pop-up choir for all this May Day.

Whether you're new to singing or a seasoned pro, you will find a fun, stimulating and accessible environment to explore your voice in a safe and supported group setting.

*At around 8.15pm there will be an informal sharing event of our new-found sound and songs, so if you are taking part in the pop-up choir, please feel free to invite friends and family along at that time to hear us/you! (They won’t need tickets). 

The bar will be open throughout the singing workshop for participants and will stay open afterwards for assembled friends and family. 

All proceeds of the bar and from the event will go to the Summerhill Trust charity.

Summerhill Trust is a registered charity (no. 1140081) protecting, in perpetuity the Pavilion and gardens of the former Summerhill Bowling Club for the community.   

Disabled access is, regrettably, very limited and there is no disabled toilet on site. If required, temporary ramps should be requested in advance – please contact [email protected].  

The Summerhill Trust is committed to making the Pavilion fully accessible by 2021 and fundraising plans to instal new facilities are in hand.

You do not need to print your ticket. Your name will be on a list at the door on the day.

There is a residents’ parking zone in Summerhill Square, so please use public transport where possible (very close to Central Station). Please get in touch if you know you require a space in close proximity to the venue and we will try to accommodate your needs.

Otherwise, there is street parking and pay-and-display car parking within walking distance on Westgate Road, Blandford Square and surrounding streets.
