Please advise of any accessibility requirements and we will do our best to accomodate.

How much of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to the charities?

100% of the profit made from this event will go to the charities, Berkshire Womens Aid and Time to Talk. The costs necessary to organise the event are covered - for example a generator, toilet hire, the dancefloor, land hire and staffing (all very gratefully received at reduced rates, with massive thanks to the providers) - no payment is taken for the organisation, and many of the performers perform for free or at very reduced rates too. We also hold a raffle alongside the event to further maximise the donations (and the fun!)

What time can I arrive?

You can arrive at 7pm (I would recommend arriving promptly if you don't want to miss anything!) and we will finish at 11.30pm.

Is food included in the ticket price?

This year food is not included in the ticket price, and will be paid for on the day. This is to ensure that we maximise the profit made, and the donation to our charities.

Why did you choose those charities?

The question was asked of the Spin City Newbury student base if they had any suggestions, and these suggestions were then shortlisted and voted on in a public poll. Berkshire Womens Aid and Time to Talk came out top, and we are so pleased to be supporting them.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, plenty of parking and you're welcome to leave your car overnight too, but please return in the morning to collect them as there are other events on over the weekend following ours.

What is the dress code for the event?

It's a masquerade ball!. There were some magnificent dresses and very smart suits last year - this is your opportunity to dress to the nines so make the most of it (and don't forget your mask!) Please be very aware when choosing your footwear that the flooring may be uneven, so block heels are perhaps wiser than stillettos!

Is there an age limit for the event?

Yes, this year we are restricting the event to ages 11+. You're welcome to bring your children over 11 years of age (however if you need to tell your kids it's an 18+ event so you don't have to bring them with you, we will support you) - children will need to have their own ticket and there's no reduction in price for them.

Can I bring my own food/drink?

No, please be prepared to buy food and drink on site. Please speak to the organiser if you have any serious allergy or dietary requirements and they will put you in touch with the food providers (tbc, but there will be vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options as standard).

Is my ticket refundable if I change my mind?

No, your ticket is not refundable. However, you can transfer it to someone else if you're unable to make it.

Do I have to bring a printed ticket to the event?

It may be helpful however we will have a full guest list so will be able to mark you off upon arrival.

Can I use my card to buy food and drinks?

You can buy drinks using cash or card, food vendors are TBC so bring plenty of cash with you just in case!

Who and how can I contact with any other questions?

Please email Katy at [email protected] and she will happily answer any more questions for you!
