Join the unforgettable Toad, Badger, Ratty, Mole and a whole host of wonderful characters to see Kenneth Graham’s fabulous family friendly story ‘The Wind in the Willows’ brought to life. In the natural surroundings of the stunning Dunnottar Woods in Stonehaven this promenade outdoor performance promises to be a wonderful experience for all ages.
Enjoy the stunning beauty of our woods and reconnect with nature whilst you enjoy this unique event.

Your visit to the Riverbank will last around 1hour and 20 minutes including a light refreshment as part of the production, there will be limited opportunity to sit down so please ensure you come wearing suitable footwear and clothing, whatever the weather.  

Please note you will be walking around the woods so this performance may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

Our audience is invited to join in the car park no earlier than 15 minutes before your ticketed performance starts. 

The nearest car park is 'Braehead' 

What happens if the weather is inclement? 
Other than there being a hurricane, the performance will go on. There is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing! Come prepared. 




KidzAct was established in August 2000 to provide the children and young people of Newtonhill, Stonehaven and the surrounding areas with drama and theatre activities. The principle aim at KidzAct is to make drama and theatre available to all, regardless of ability and we welcome all ages from 5 to 18. With highly experienced and well qualified coaches the emphasis at KidzAct is on building confidence and improving communication and teamwork in a fun environment.
