Born Lippy presents

Friday 20th March 2020

Show begins: 7.30pm

Tickets: £5 all tickets

Age recommendation: 18+

Running time: Approx. 90 mins plus interval

What would happen if three of the most hard hitting Hiphop and Grime artists were stripped of their usual electronic beats and were made to spit their finest verses, accompanied by nothing but the strings of an acoustic guitar?

In this unique performance, local rapping legend Ken Masters will perform his newest album (Cosmic Viking Wizard Funk), alongside grime and rap hero REALI-T aka ‘Ya boy from Hackney’ with some of his stone cold classic tracks, accompanied by professional guitarist Drop Dead Fred, who is also an M.C in own right and will be mixing it up by spitting bars whilst plucking strings.

Alphabetti Theatre

Alphabetti Theatre is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and was created by Ali Pritchard in 2012. We create, produce, and programme new, original work from emerging artists across the performing arts, championing work in Music, Theatre, Comedy and Poetry. We strive to make theatre that is relatable and accessible to all, and are constantly looking for new ways to challenge ourselves, physically, mentally and conceptually – we believe that by challenging ourselves we inevitably challenge the audience, creating engaging and original experiences.
