Workshop: Writing About Our Changing Climate

In this workshop, I’ll share my interest in climate change and the inspiration behind the dream-eating creature awoken by a terrible drought in my debut The Switching Hour. We’ll explore how to write about weather in our own stories, using all our senses to enrich our writing. By the end of the workshop students will also have created their own imaginary creatures based on an extreme weather event.
