Ever fancied being in a band? Here's your chance to try it out! 

This 2hr session will form a band from scratch, creating a performance of up to 3 pieces to showcase at the Upper Norwood Library Hub Open Mic Night on Thurs 3rd October. All voices, instruments and experience levels welcome. Materials provided in advance. No ongoing commitment.

Led by James Taylor, drumkit and percussion, and Eleanor Rastall, singer and leader of local choir Palace Acappella.

Eleanor Rastall

Eleanor Rastall is a freelance singer and choir and workshop leader based in London. She was awarded an MMus (Distinction) in Vocal Performance by Trinity Laban and now can often be found singing at the Musical Museum, Kew bridge, and running choirs and workshop across London. As well as running two office choirs, Eleanor is Guest Workshop Leader at the Globe Theatre and co-runs the Globe Theatre and Tate Modern staff choir. One-off workshops have included for Channel 4 and NHS London and she has recently set up her own choir - Palace Acappella - in Crystal Palace. She loves helping people discover they can sing!
