Murder @ (the murder mystery company)
A murder mystery from the height of World War II. It is 1942 and Germany targets Britain's industries. Cheshire appears to be a safe distance from the bombing targets but is it? Could the Lion Salt work or the Yarwood boat yard be a target of bombing or espionage? There is talk of enemy prisoners of war arriving at Northwich station and rumours pervade the town.
You will be sitting with the locals in the Salt Barge pub among the land girls, boat welders, salt workers, doctors and trainee pilots celebrating your contribution to the war effort when the night starts with the murder of a much loved local. You must help our investigator identify the murderer and their motive. With village feuds bubbling in the background and coming to light, there will be a number of suspects to question (and a few red herrings).
The evening starts in The Salt Barge at 7pm with a 2 course war time meal from 7.30pm. There will be music, intrigue and deception. A chance to question the suspects. After the meal the event will move to the salt works for even more intrigue.
War time dress optional (but there will be a prize for best dressed guest)
£25 per person..
