Pay what you feel

NUTS Theatre presents Kurl Up And Dye

When: Friday 26th July 2019
Time: 7:15pm
Tickets: Pay What You Feel
Age Recommendation: 12+
Running Time: 1 hour

Where: Main Theatre

This hilarious dark comedy welcomes you into Kurl Up ‘n’ Dye, a warm and friendly though largely unsuccessful Yorkshire beauticians. The salon, run haphazardly by Sarah, Michelle, Amanda, and Jo, receives a wide range of regulars – though none as loyal as 93-year-old Mrs Clarke. When a simple bikini wax lands her dead on the table, the women go to unusual lengths to cover it up and save their beloved beauticians from closing.

They’re not your typical ruthless businesswomen – but a team so dedicated to the evasion of justice and the application of a perfect wax deserves no other name. This fun, female-driven comedy is a passion project by emerging artists from NUTS Theatre; following the success of Big Trouble in Little Monkey’s Daycare last year, this female-led cast and crew are excited to bring a piece of new writing to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Loyalties are tested and friendships are strained. How much pain can one bikini wax cause?
