Fairytales for grown-ups, myths for kids, puppetry shows, music, workshops and campfire. Welcome to the brand new Stealing Thunder Storytelling Festival. From 26th-28th July, a single field in the beautiful Lake District village of Bowland Bridge will become a welly-boot-ique festival of wonder, with a tented theatre of stories, ‘The Fabularium’, at its heart. Enter a field of playfulness, epic stories & wild enchantment… and the occasional sheep.

Stealing Thunder Storytelling Festival is a formidable collaboration between Cumbria‘s own Stealing Thunder Storytelling Club, the Crick Crack Club & Theatre of the Small. Together we’re creating something petite, gorgeous and filled with magic for ALL ages. We’re making it for you  – so join us!

There will be fire. There will probably also be rain!

FEATURED ARTISTS INCLUDE WORLD CLASS STORYTELLERS: Ben Haggarty, Jan Blake, Tim Ralphs, Clare Murphy, Dominic Kelly, Emily Hennessey, Xanthe Gresham & Nick Hennessey with puppetry by The Theatre of the Small, and much, much more.
