105 Brunswick Street , Glasgow

Thursday, 20 Jun

This FREE networking event will be our sixth #CONNECT of the year.  In June the theme for the event will be 'Art and the Environment' where member Emily Reid, Artistic Director of Eco Drama will be giving a presentation on their work.  We will have a Q&A with a members' panel and Glasgow CAN's Executive Director will be sharing information on the next round of Commissioned Projects funding and how to apply. She will guide attendees through the application form and budget section. There will be time woven in for informal networking opportunities and a lovely cuppa and cake.

Glasgow CAN are delighted to be hosting a year-long programme of training workshops and events in 2019 supported by Creative Scotland. #CONNECT events are FREE, informal and thematic. They are open to Glasgow CAN Members and the general public. #CONNECT will take place each month from our base in Scottish Youth Theatre's building on Brunswick Street in the heart of Glasgow's beautiful Merchant City.

Glasgow CAN is dedicated to connecting creatives to build new partnerships and strengthen the sector. Our events attract a mixture of established and emerging artists and organisations. Each event will include a short workshop or a talk from an industry leader, informal networking time, and the opportunity to share best practice, experiences and learn something new.

These events are FREE but please book a place as they are limited.
