Curious explorations into the human condition. Stupid explanations into the unknown. Misguided examinations you can’t un-see. In an evening of improvised dramedy, members of The Suggestibles, together with a new ensemble for one night only, present two improv comedy formats, two new dramatic plays, taking inspiration from you and yours to boldly go where no one has gone before. And promise to never go again! Pushing the boundaries of where improv can go, and giving your laughter muscles a right good work-out in the process.

4 1 Night Only is brought to you by The Suggestibles’ School of Improv, resident at Alphabetti Theatre every other month, along with their other show, Rat Race playing here alternate months.

The Suggestibles is the Northeast’s longest running improv company. The core team is resident at the Stand Comedy Club and Cumberland Arm, their home venue since 2004.

In 2003, they set-up School of Improv, now the longest-running training and performance ground for improvisers in the UK. Find out more about The Suggestibles improv company, and School of Improv courses:

Alphabetti Theatre

Alphabetti Theatre is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and was created by Ali Pritchard in 2012. We create, produce, and programme new, original work from emerging artists across the performing arts, championing work in Music, Theatre, Comedy and Poetry. We strive to make theatre that is relatable and accessible to all, and are constantly looking for new ways to challenge ourselves, physically, mentally and conceptually – we believe that by challenging ourselves we inevitably challenge the audience, creating engaging and original experiences.
