3 Queen Elizabeth's Walk, London
Tuesday, 26 Mar - Tuesday, 2 Apr
A weekly Yin and Yoga Nidra class to stretch your fascia deeply and calm the nervous system. Come and practice floor based yoga postures by candlelight in a room which looks over Clissold Park. with the use of props (provided) to support the body.
Yin is a quiet, medititive, reflective practice which can help us slow down and look inwards. It is particularly useful to support a more dynamic practice as it improves flexibility and is fantastic if you are peri or post menopausal as it cools the body down (so good for symptoms like hot flushes, headaches or insomnia).
Yoga Nidra ia powerful guided meditation practiced in savasana (lying down) which enables you to deeply rest the body and mind.
Expect to leave this class feeling grounded, calmer, and like you have stretched the connective tissue passively but deeply, enabling you to feel less stressed and better able to sleep.
Class suitable for all levels including complete beginners.
No need to bring anything, just comfortable clothes; mats, bolsters, blankets, eye bags, belts and blocks are all provided.
At the manor Road end of Clissold Park, just below the tennis courts. Wooden building can be accessed either from the park or from Queen Elizabeth's Walk side.
If you are late just enter quietly and Catrin will guide you to a mat and make sure you are comfortable.
There is a lift if you have access needs. Please ring the bell at the front door to be assisted to the lift by the receptionist. Guide dogs are welcome. If you have any other access needs and want to ask any questions feel free to e mail Catrin at [email protected]
